Scope And Coverage

This Privacy Policy covers how personal data collected through access and use of
Taxumo’s services shall be treated. This Privacy Policy does not cover the practices of
companies we don’t own and people we don’t manage or are affiliated with Taxumo.

Personal Data Collected

Personal information refers to details which identify you and may include your
name, mailing address, contact information, email, TIN number, business name, if
applicable, phone number, email address, gender, birthdate, and other details
related to your business including any transaction details already provided in any
forms submitted or provided to Taxumo. This information may be shared with
service providers and parties you authorize, access or authenticate. This includes
Transaction details (dates, amounts, vendors, client name, vendor name, client &
vendor TIN), COR details (TIN, business name, business address, date of registration,
applicable tax types, industry code, date of registration), phone number, email
address, gender, birthdate.

Device/IP Data – refers to information which may include your IP address and the
type, operating system and version, and the browser you used in accessing our
services. This information may be shared with service providers.

Web Analytics refers to data collected through a webpage or a source which you
accessed to use TAXUMO’s services which may contain personal data that is shared
with and to service providers, parties you authorized, access, or authenticate.
TAXUMO’s retention of this information shall be to the extent of providing better
services to you as well as for the other purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

Social Network Data refers to your email, contact information, and any other
information from your social media profile, including but not limited to LinkedIn, or
Facebook

Professional Data – refers to data that pertains to your professional background
and/or are data which are considered as employment-related. This includes your job
title, job history, business name, business address, date of registration, applicable tax
types, industry code, date of registration), phone number, email address, and any
data contained on any Form required and submitted to the government which is
linked to your profile.

Geo-location Data refers to personal data which are IP-address based location
information, and/or your country of origin. This information may be shared with
service providers for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

Sensory Data are data that you have submitted to us which would include photos of
documents related to or serve as supporting documents to any of your applications,
or services provided by TAXUMO. This information may be shared with service
providers.

Other Information refers to information collected may include identifying
information from emails and documents you sent us. This information may be
shared with service providers for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

How Data Is Collected

  • Data you provide to us

    When you access and use TAXUMO, including the creation of an account or
    use any of our interactive tools and services, you provide us with personal
    information like your name, location, age, and the like. Likewise, you may also
    voluntarily provide information when you submit forms, or when uploading
    supporting documentation is provided in connection to your application.

  • Information we collect as you use our services

    When you download our mobile application or use a location-enabled
    browser, we may receive information about your location and your device
    automatically. This information transmitted shall only be collected and used
    for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.

    These refer to personal data records which are made public and/or
    information collected by the Government

  • Third party providers 

    When you access TAXUMO through 3rd party login providers such as your
    social network account/s and networks offered by digital enabling industries,
    some contents or information in said accounts such as your email address
    may be transmitted to us.

We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or
individuals outside Taxumo except when you have given your express consent for
such disclosure.

Google AdSense

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. and communication, security and fraud consultants, support and customer service
providers, external and/or internal Taxumo consultants.

Analytics Partners – These are partners that provide analytics on web traffic or usage
of the Services.

Parties given authority to access data – These are parties you have accessed through
the services which may include the use of social media services.

For external processing – Taxumo provides your personal information to its affiliates
and trusted businesses and their personnel to process it for us. Rest assured that
processing made by Taxumo’s affiliates is compliant to our Privacy Policy and any
other confidentiality and security measures. Taxumo’s trusted affiliates include
service providers assisting us with customer support

For legal obligations – We may share any personal data that we collect with other
parties, when necessary, in connection with any of the activities set forth under
“Purpose of Collecting Data”.

Business Transfers – All Personal Data that we collect, may be transferred to a third
party in the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or any other transaction in
which the third party assumes control of Taxumo, whether in whole or in part. We
will ensure the confidentiality of your personal information and give affected users
notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different
Privacy Policy.

Data Security & Retention

We retain the data we collect for different periods of time depending on what it is
and how we use it. Your personal data may be retained for as long as you have an
account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you with our services.

Exporting And Deleting Your Information

Should you want to export, delete and/or make changes to your information held by
us, please contact privacy@taxumo.com

When your personal information is deleted, we follow a process to make sure your
data is safely and securely removed from our servers or retained only in an
anonymized form. As with any deletion process, things like routine maintenance,
unexpected outages, bugs or failures in our protocols may cause delays in deletion of
your data.

Personal Data of Children

TAXUMO is committed to protecting your privacy, and ensuring the safety and
security of personal data under its control and custody. Information provided by or
on behalf of children will be collected, stored, and deleted when no longer needed, in
accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing Rules and
Regulations.

Privacy Laws Applicable

Republic Act No. 10173 (the “Data Privacy Act of 2012”) and its Implementing Rules
and Regulations

Data protection laws vary among countries, some providing more protection than
others. Regardless of where your information is accessed, collected and processed,
we apply the same protections described in this Policy. Should there be any
complaint filed for violation of data privacy, we shall contact the person who made
the complaint. Likewise, we shall work with local data protection authorities to
resolve any complaint, if we cannot resolve the complaint directly with you.

Online Tracking System

Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to
operators of websites and web applications and services that you do not wish such
operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by Taxumo and its affiliates. This
Privacy Policy does not apply to services that have separate privacy policies which do
not incorporate this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online
activities and is valid for visitors and users to our website as regards the information
that they shared and/or collected. This Policy is not applicable to any information
collected offline or via channels other than this website.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to information practices of other companies and
organizations that advertise our services. Likewise, this Privacy Policy does not apply
to services offered by other companies or individuals displayed to you in search
results, or those linked to our services. You can consult the respective Privacy Policies
of these third-party ad servers and websites for more detailed information. It may

and make sure that we process your information in ways that comply with it. This
